indent broken with column_box

When @left_padding is subtracted from @width, the calculations for width in column_box become wrong, as do the calculations of where the left side is, and so on. The net result is pretty confusing, but basically, in a two-column display, if you are in the second column, you get half the indenting you requested.
Patch enclosed. I do not promise that it's pretty or elegant, but it appears to work.
