Looks like the things we need are text alignment, bold / italic support, and maybe some background color / text color stuff.
I think this stuff will be done in a manner that isn't table specific, so I'll focus on it in the next milestone.

Prawn is a fast and nimble PDF generator written in pure Ruby. You can find the code on Github: http://github.com/sandal/prawn
